Currently onboarding a small private beta

Forward the email.
We'll watch the world for you.

Send a flight, train, drive, or bill confirmation to your RunTimeCal address. It reads what actually matters, checks it against real traffic, real delays and real bank holidays, then tells you exactly when to leave — or when to pay.

Why bother forwarding an email

The point isn't the reminder. It's what it saves you.

A £2/month habit only matters if what it prevents is worth more than that. Here's what it's actually built to prevent.

£20+/hr

What a delay costs you if you don't know about it

UK short-stay airport parking can run £20 an hour or more. If your leave-by time is built from live flight status rather than the original schedule, a delay doesn't mean sitting in a car park paying for it — it means leaving later, because the system already knew.

1 habit

Instead of five separate apps

A flight tracker, a traffic app, a train status page, a banking app for payday, a calendar you don't always check — replaced with one action you already do: forward the email.

Any device

Works wherever you read email

No app to install, no notification permissions to manage, no phone storage taken up. Alerts land on a work desktop, an old laptop, or a phone — genuinely useful in an office environment, not just on the move.

0 calendars

Checked, because none had to be

Work calendar, personal calendar, a text from the dentist — most people have appointments scattered across places they don't reliably check. Forward the confirmation once, get a day-before alert regardless of which calendar it was ever added to, if any.

How it works

Three things happen. In this order.

No app, no dashboard you have to remember to check. The whole product runs on the fact that you already forward emails.

01 / FORWARD

Send the confirmation on

A flight booking, a season ticket, a council tax bill, a hospital appointment — forward it to your personal RunTimeCal address, same as CC'ing a colleague.

02 / WATCH

It reads what matters, then waits

Not the whole email — just what's needed to track it: the flight number, the route, the due date. Sensitive detail is generalised before it's stored.

03 / ALERT

You're told at the right moment

A departure time built from live traffic and your own walking pace. A flight re-checked once more before the alert fires, in case something changed. A payday that shifts around the bank holiday correctly.

What makes the alerts different

Reminders that check reality, not just the clock

Most reminder tools fire at a fixed offset. RunTimeCal fires when conditions say to — which is a different alert on a bad-traffic Tuesday than on a clear Sunday.

Flights

Watched quietly, the whole time you're waiting

Between the day-before alert and your leave-by time, RunTimeCal rechecks the flight once, silently — unless something's actually changed. Cancelled, delayed 30+ minutes, or (the one most tools miss) now departing 15+ minutes earlier than scheduled — any of those gets you an immediate heads-up instead of finding out too late.

Airport pickups

Not just for the person flying

Forward someone else's flight confirmation and get told when to leave to be there as they land — not for your own journey. For international arrivals, you're also told roughly how long immigration and baggage tend to take, so you don't leave too early assuming a wait that doesn't happen.

Drives

Traffic-aware, and shaped to how you actually travel

Every road journey uses live traffic, not a static estimate — with a buffer style (relaxed / standard / tight) and a walking pace that match your real habits, not a generic margin.

Trains

Checked against live disruption status

TfL and National Rail status are checked before you're told to leave — so the reminder reflects the platform reality, not just the timetable.

Payday

Correct around bank holidays, every time

UK bank holidays and US federal holidays are computed properly, not read from a list that goes stale — so it never tells you to expect money on a day the banks are shut.

Data handling

Built to hold less than you'd expect

This isn't a policy promise — it's how the system is actually built.

We're onboarding a small group by hand

RunTimeCal is pre-launch — genuinely, not as a figure of speech. Before it's open to everyone, a small group is helping us find what breaks under real flights, real trains, and real bills. Leave your email and we'll reach out directly.

No spam. One email, when a spot opens. Thanks — you're on the list. We'll be in touch.
